Canskate

The executive reserves the right to move skaters
and adjust programs as necessary.


An introductory skating program following the Skate Canada Canskate program. Skaters will be working on Canskate badges 1-3 and must be a minimum age of 4 years old. Skaters are on the ice with coaches and program assistants using circuit instructions with music, skills and games. You may wish to register your skater for 2 sessions per week for quicker advancement.

EGSC is proud to welcome back Tina Stevens-Forani, winner of Best of the Best CanSkate Coach of the Year for 2009/2010, Tina has coordinated and overseen our CanSkate programs for a number of years. Congratulations Tina and all our coaching staff.


Choose one of the following sessions:

Canskate Wed.  5:30-6:20pm
Canskate Fri.     7:00-7:50pm
Canskate Sat.    9:30-10:20am
           

Full Program: Oct 5/09 - Mar 13/10 (no lessons Dec 20-Jan 4)

Fall Session: Oct 5/09 – Dec 19/09 

Winter Session:  Jan 5/10 –Mar 13/10

What should my child wear to skating lessons? - CSA approved hockey or ski helmets and mittens are required for Canskate, Frosty Tot and CanHockey programs. Snow pants are also a good idea at this level. Parents are not allowed on the ice.
