Karon is starting her third year at EGSC and is the Club Coach Representative to the Executive of EGSC.

Coaching for more than 25 years from beginners to national competitors. Karon was a member of Holiday on Ice International touring Europe and South America for five years.

Recipient of the Skate Canada Club Coach award in 2007 and is presently a Club Consultant for COS-Skate Canada, Outreach Program, working with a team of professional coaches to assess delivery standards of CanSkate and StarSkate Programs across Central Ontario Section.

Level II Certified with Level III Theory and Technical components as well as starting Level IV tasks to her accreditation. Certified CanPower Skate, Special Olympics and Gold Status in C.E.P. Continuous Education Program. She has an extensive background in Power Skating working with all levels of skaters to OHL & NHL. Currently the Power Skating Head Coach with National Training Rinks Inc. Karon is the CanPower Skate and Star Skate co-ordinator for East Gwillimbury Skating Club. She looks forward to work a long side the coaching staff to make EG a Great Place to Skate and provide a positive skating experience for all members of the club.
