Since Katie was three years old she has been an active member of the EG Skating Club in both singles and synchronized skating.

In 2005, at the age of 16 she decided to take the steps toward becoming a coach. Since then, she has become a certified level one coach, with aspiration of achieving her level two in the near future. As a skater, Katie has achieved double gold status, with hopes of soon completing her Gold Artistic as well as her Diamond Dances. Katie is very passionate about skating and is ecstatic she is able to teach others the sport she loves so much!
