Connecting Our Community Through Skating​​

East Gwillimbury Skating Club (EGSC) is a not-for-profit, community skating organization established in 1971 and proudly affiliated with Skate Canada and Skate Ontario, serving skaters of all ages and abilities. All sessions are held at the East Gwillimbury Sport Complex in Sharon, Ontario.

Our programs, led by NCCP-certified, Skate Canada-trained coaches and supported by passionate volunteers and program assistants, are designed to exceed national standards and foster a nurturing environment for every skater.

As part of Skate Canada, EGSC shares in the mission to deliver quality skating programs and nurture champions, from grassroots to high performance. We believe in:

We are operated by a volunteer Board of Directors committed to serving our community. Our volunteer Program Assistants play a vital role by assisting coaches, supporting younger skaters, and sharing their love for skating

We believe great skating begins with strong fundamentals, skilled coaches and a positive, inclusive community. Our coaches and volunteers collaborate to help skaters develop not only their physical skills but also confidence, creativity and a lifelong love for skating.
