Mid Ice Crisis has proudly represented East Gwillimbury Skating Club at Synchro competitions for over 20 years. Currently competing at the Adult 3 level, Mid Ice is a group of women with an age span of often 30+ years. They have a passion and love for the ice as well as for their teammates. Synchronized skating, often called "synchro" or precision skating is a team-based discipline within figure skating where 8 to 20 skaters (maximum 16 competing on ice at once) perform routines in unison. Teams execute formations such as blocks, lines, circles, wheels, and intersections, moving across the ice with fluid timing and precision. This discipline brings together teamwork, precision, and performance where teams move seamlessly as one.
